Chicken Fillet Roll
UP!
Vegan-ness/Vegetarian-ness
This can be made vegetarian on the premise you can source some form
of seitan chicken fillet/nuggets or a mycoprotein chicken thing.
Unsure about strictly vegan (parbaked) baguettes/mini-baguettes.
Ingredients
-
Diced Onions (1/2 Cup)
(If this is a particularly large onion, use a quarter for
one person/serving, but some of the smaller ones would be
enough for one person.)
-
Assorted amount of lettuce
(READ: whatever fits on roll)
-
Grated Cheese
(READ: whatever fits on roll)
-
1 Breaded Chicken Fillet
OR
2 Chicken Nuggets per half of baguette
-
Whatever sauce you desire (I use ketchup for reasons)
Preparation
-
Dice the Onions and grate the
cheese
-
Put tiny amount of water on parbaked baguettes and bung into
oven for 5-ish minutes.
-
Put chicken nuggets/fillet into air
frier for 7 minutes.
If they are vegetarian, put the a
tiny amount of water into the bottom of the tray. This is so
that they don't dry out.
HOWEVER, if there is too much water in
air-frier basin it will go soggy and weird.
-
Wait on baguettes and
breaded chicken .
Cut the chicken into pieces, if it is a fillet.
-
Cut open the baguette(s) with a bread knife.
-
Put sauce onto the insides of the bread
roll. Add the Chicken into the roll.
Add the Onions and
lettuce and
cheese beside the chicken.
Try not to overfill it.
-
IF it is a full-sized baguette, cut in half.
Serve.
